HAECO and Safran Aerosystems announce license agreement for C919 evacuation slide

HAECO Group is proud to secure an agreement with Safran Aerosystems, a global leader in aviation systems dedicated to aircraft and helicopter safety as well as fluid and fuel management, for the maintenance of the evacuation slide on the C919 aircraft. 

Under this groundbreaking agreement, HAECO's Component Repair and Overhaul (CRO) division will have the authorisation to develop the capability of the C919 evacuation slide. As part of the collaboration, Safran Aerosystems will extend its support to HAECO by assisting in the development of HAECO's own repair capability related to the product. This support includes the supply of spare parts, sale of tooling and test equipment as well as the training and technical documentation necessary to perform maintenance services for the C919 evacuation slides. The license agreement covers the Asia Pacific region, including China, where the C919 aircraft has garnered significant attention and demand.

HAECO entered into a licensing agreement with Safran Aerosystems for the A350 evacuation slide in 2022. The development was completed in early 2023 and with the service currently in full operation. With the latest collaboration with Safran Aerosystems, HAECO will further strengthen its position as a leading MRO provider in the region by enhancing its capabilities in servicing the C919 evacuation slide, highlighting its ongoing commitment to providing exceptional support and solutions to the aviation industry.
